This project consists of interior renovation of a 22,000 SF, two story building, previously used for corporate offices, into a Town Library. The Library/Media Facility offers state-of-the-art computer technology. Patrons have the ability to link into the network system at any location within the building. The first level of the building contains an Outdoor Story Area/Reading Garden, large Children’s Center, expansive Audio/Visual and New Material Area, several small Meeting, Tutoring and Conference rooms, Technical Services, Staff Offices and Lounge. Included on the second level are ample Stack Areas, open Reference Area, back issue Periodical/Microfiche room, boardroom, Offices and a comfortable Reading/Current Periodical Area. In addition, the first level of the building contains a large Multi-function Space available to the Town for public use. The facility is fully ADA compliant and user friendly to the entire Community.
